Installation Information
Easy Steps for an Easy Install
STEP 1
LEVELED LAND
The site must be leveled for installation. The site must be leveled on a side entry structure. If the site is not leveled, this could lead to a door malfunction, resulting in leaks or undesirable openings. We encourage all of our customers to provide a secure level site.
STEP 2
WORKSPACE
3 feet of workspace is required around the entire structure to ensure a secure install. Our crew operates heavy-duty pickup trucks attached to 40-foot trailers. Clear the site of any obstacles, and please notify us if the parking space is less than 65 feet (0.02 km) in length.
STEP 3
UTILITY LINES
Please call 811 to locate all underground lines where anchoring will occur. Mark any underground line that could interfere with installation or cause any possible threat. 10 feet of overhead space is required for installation; any lines within must be shut off.
STEP 4
PERMITS
Please contact your local building department regarding any permits or special requests. All structures requiring permits or special requests must comply with all local codes. If you have any further questions regarding wind and snow load ratings, please contact your local building department; all local codes vary per state.
